Doris Maltas' Obituary
Doris Ann Maltas, 76, of Clinton, IA, died Sunday, March 7, 2010 at the Alverno. Services will be 10:00am Wednesday March 10, 2010 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will be in the St. Irenaeus Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. She was born February 8, 1934 in Clinton, IA, the daughter of George and Anna (Banker) Smith. Doris was a St. Mary’s High School graduate. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Doris worked for Jim Walters provided child care for more than twenty years and had been employed at the Rich Toy Factory. Survivors include her children, Debbie (Don) Dunlavy; Terry (Tammy) Maltas; Vicki (Carl) Brunson and Jodie Lippens all of Clinton; son-in-law Mike Motroni of Clinton; 14 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; her Sister, LaVerne Workman and sister-in-law, Norma Smith both of Clinton. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Connie Motroni, and brother, Lorrin Smith. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
