Donna V. Rife Perkins' Obituary
Donna V. Perkins, 83, of Albany, Illinois, went to be with her heavenly Father on June 15, 2016 at 5:20AM. She was surrounded by her loving family. A celebration of her life will be held, 11:00AM, Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the Albany United Methodist Church, Albany, IL. In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated at Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory.
She was a longtime member of the Albany United Methodist Church. She delivered golden meals throughout the Albany area. She attended the Cattle Grade School and Erie High School. She married John Sprague of Clinton, Iowa, who died of a massive heart attack while playing a father-son basketball game at Albany Grade School. She enjoyed swimming at the Albany Beach and racing midget cars with her husband John. She later married William Rife and they had four children.
Survivors include her children, William Rife of Albany; twins, Christopher Rife of Albany and Charles Rife of Clinton; Margaret Rife of Albany and John Sprague of Clinton; her sister, Margaret Naftzger of Albany; grandchildren, Misty, Makina, John, Jr, Audriana, Brianna, Christopher, Jr., Kale and Kyler.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, parents and two brothers.
