Donna Jean Reed's Obituary
Donna Jean Reed, 81, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023 at the Alverno, Clinton. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting with arrangements. There will be no services. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting snellzornig.com.
Donna was born November 4, 1941 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Wilfred and Patricia (Holliday) Reed. Donna was a teacher her entire life in Freeport, Illinois at the High School. She was one of the founders of the girls’ sports programs at the Freeport High School. Donna was active at the Clinton Pool, she and her friends met monthly. She was a very good bowler and was active in bowling leagues for many years. She was also a member of ASPCA and loved animals, especially dogs.
Survivors include her daughter, Katrina Heinitz of Clinton, IA; grandchildren, Zander, Hunter and Catalina Heinitz; brothers, Tim Reed of Moline, IL and Jeff (Paula) Reed of Cuba, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law, Jason Heinitz.
Memorials may be made to the ASPCA.
