Donna Normoyle's Obituary
Donna Jo Normoyle, 64, of Cordova, Illinois, died Monday, December 5, 2011 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf. Memorial services will be 11am, Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Her family will receive friends from 10am until the service hour at the funeral home Wednesday. Donna was born May 20, 1947 in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of Beryl and Joann (Amesquita) Criswell. She was a graduate of Mount St. Clare College. She had been employed as librarian at the Cordova Library and was a teacher in the Clinton Community School District. She was also previously employed at Swiss Colony. Her moral compass was true. If you were lucky enough to go on one of her adventures, she'd give you a day you would never forget. Survivors include her daughter, Nikki (Brad) Kaup of Clinton; son, Jonathan P. (Emily) Gorman of Wake Forrest, NC; three grandchildren, Sydney and Ava Kaup and Lucas Gorman; sisters, Theresa Sinclair of Silvis, IL; Beryl Wilson of East Moline, IL; Leonora Criswell of Evergreen, CO; Vickie (Gary) Moore of Moline, IL, Bonnie (Don) Carey of Port Byron, IL and Pat (Bob) Sweetin of Iola, TX; brothers, George (Chris) Criswell of East Moline, IL and Walter Criswell of Moline, IL; and many nieces and nephews, including special nieces, Leigh and Morgan. She was preceded in death by her parents. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Baldrick's or the Vern Worley Helping Hand Foundation.
