Donna R. Leslie's Obituary
Donna R. Leslie, 82, of Clinton passed away Monday, July 17, 2023 at her home in Fieldstone of DeWitt.
Memorial Services will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the service time at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting her obituary at www.snellzornig.com.
Donna Rae Huebner was born May 23, 1941 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Alfred and Mildred (Holm) Huebner. She was a 1959 graduate of Clinton High School. She married Donald “Butch” Leslie on June 12, 1965 in Clinton; he preceded her in death on December 18, 1983.
Donna worked as a laundry aid at the Alverno for many years when she retired in 2006. She enjoyed reading, gardening, watching Western Movies and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her three daughters: Laurie Kruse of Daytona Beach, Florida, Melissa (Patrick) Alexander of Marion, Iowa and Lisa (Lanny) Stewart of Clinton; five grandchildren: Logan (Kelsey) Kruse, Madison (Kyle) Smith, Zavier Alexander, Miles Alexander and Faith Stewart; two great grandchildren: Kaden and Brynlee; and three siblings: Wayne (Sandy) Huebner of Madison, Wisconsin, Nancy (Jerry) Tucker of Clinton and Joyce Morlock of Clinton.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two infant sisters.
