Donna M. Kair's Obituary
Donna M. Kair 84, of Camanche passed away Friday, September 20, 2019 at Eagle Point Health Care Center – Clinton.
Memorial Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Burial will be privately held in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
Donna Mae Nissen was born December 18, 1934 in Camanche, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Sophie (Schmidt) Nissen. She attended DeWitt High School. She married Ronald Kair on October 3, 1954 in Clinton; he preceded her in death on December 5, 2008.
Donna worked for the Clinton Garment Factory for 35 years. She volunteered as a 4-H leader for 10 years. She was the family party planner and enjoyed her flower gardens. She took great pride in her children and enjoyed babysitting her great-grandson Gunner.
Donna is survived by her two children: Debra Kair of Camanche and James (Pam) Kair of Camanche; three grandchildren: Emily (Ben) Hingtgen of Bellevue, Iowa, Sarah Thomas of Clinton and Emily (Joe Jungen) Thomas of Clinton; one great grandchild Gunner Hingtgen and one more great grandchild on the way; siblings: Delbert (Betty) Nissen of Clinton, Charles (Jill) Nissen of Camanche and Janet Merkle of Bettendorf, Iowa; two brother-in-laws: Dennis Kair of Clinton and Gary Wilke of Clinton; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ron, her parents, infant son Billy, infant grandson Jason, her granddaughter Jenni Bopes and one brother.
Memorials may be made to the family.
