Donald C. Schipper, 75, of Clinton, died Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Genesis Medical Center – East Campus – Davenport, Iowa.
Funeral Services will be 1:30pm, Friday, January 3, 2014 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in the Garden Plain Cemetery – Garden Plain, Illinois. Serving as pallbearers will be Richard Schipper, Gabe Schipper, Matthew Richmond, Ronald May, Jr., and Ronald May, Sr. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00am to the service time at the funeral home. Donald Clair Schipper was born on April 1, 1938 in Morrison, Illinois, the son of Jacob and Ethel (Hamm) Schipper.
Donald enjoyed walking his dogs and going camping.
Donald is survived by his sister: Eloise May of Clinton; two brothers: Robert (Leona) Schipper of Davenport, Iowa, and Ronald Schipper of Black River Falls, Wisconsin; and several nieces and nephews.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and one sister.
Memorials can be made to the Salvation Army Food Pantry.
