Donald Miller's Obituary
Donald E. Miller, 69, of DeWitt, passed away, December 30, 2014 at his home in DeWitt.
Memorial Services will be 11:00am, Friday, January 16, 2015 at Lyons United Methodist Church – 2118 North 2nd Street – Clinton, Iowa. Private burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00am to the service time Friday at the church. Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory – Camanche is in charge of arrangements.
Donald Everett Miller was born on January 20, 1945 in Clinton, Iowa the son of Melvin B. and Eleanor M. (Jurgensen) Miller. He served in the United States Army. After being discharged from the Army he attended and received an AA from Clinton Community College.
Don loved all animals especially his cats. He was artistic, and loved to write and draw. He was also mechanically inclined.
Don is survived by his sister: Myrna Weller of Camanche; his brother: Robert (Sue) Miller of Clinton; 2 nieces, one nephew, and 5 great-nieces.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, and his special friend Lauren McFarland.
Memorials can be made to the Clinton Humane Society.
