Donald A. Johnson, 82, of Clinton, passed away, May 18, 2016 at Eagle Point Nursing Home – Clinton. Funeral Services will be Noon, Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the First Baptist Church – Clinton. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn C Read Obituary
Growing up in First Baptist Church, I remember always looking up to Don and Donna. They were a vibrant young couple who knew and lived God's word. I wanted to have a relationship like theirs. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Donna and the rest of the Johnson family.
I can remember Uncle Don's restaurant, Reynolds and the little clown that rode on the unicycle on a string that ran from one end of the restaurant to the other. My Dad would take me to Reynolds and we would sit at the bar chatting with Uncle Don and watching that silly clown. Great memory growing up. Uncle Don is rejoicing with Jesus!!!
yes we all remember the caramel apples and going to Marucci if u were a south ender.He always had a smile and had time for small talk.Like a lot of the old Clintonians are gone but they will always be kept alive through our history. Sorry to see another one gone. Sorry Donna
Don and I have been friends and class-mates since 1943. He was a stand-up guy in that he was always friendly and interested in everybody he knew. His taffy apples were the best, and I enjoyed working with him on Class of 53 high school reunions.. I offer my sincere condolences to his family on the loss of a very nice person.
