Larry And Elizabeth Howe
Don was a not only a really good U.S. history teacher and football, wrestling, and track coach, he was a steady, responsible role model for classroom students and fellow teachers. Don could be counted on to do it “right” whether it was in the classroom or on the playing fields. In addition to being a professional educator, Don loved the outdoors especially his spring fishing trips to Canada with family and friends. He loved to catch walleyes and have a few for supper. Don and Judy were not just great professional educators, they were responsible parents to two great kids, Devon and Tricia. The Doughty family lost a good person in Don, but his memory will live on in their hearts and memories. Rest in peace, Don, knowing that your legacy will live on not only through your family, but also through the thousands of students you taught and coached. You helped make CHS a great place to learn and grow.
