Dolores “Sis” J. Greve, 88, of Camanche, passed away, Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Bickford Cottage – Clinton.
Funeral Services will be 11:00am, Thursday, October 26, 2023 at the Lighthouse Baptist Church - Camanche Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00am to the service time at the church. The Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
Dolores “Sis” Jean Null was born on August 20, 1935 in Camanche, Iowa, the daughter of Marvin and Grace (Wiebers) Null. She was a 1953 graduate of Clinton High School. She married Courtland Greve on November 8, 1953 in Camanche; he passed away November 20, 2008.
Sis was a homemaker and worked part-time at the Clinton Moose Lodge. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and visiting the casino. She cherished her time living at Sarah Harding with her former classmates, socializing and attending plays at the Showboat Theatre.
Sis is survived by her son: Dennis Greve of Clinton; a son-in-law: Larry Cramer of Camanche; three grandsons: Josh (Kelly) Cramer, Matt (MacKenna) Cramer, Bart (Liv Ruesch) Cramer; three great grandchildren Brianna, Paige, and Bohden; and three sisters: Louella Rose of DeWitt Pam Norris of Clinton, and Jackie (Tim) Sachsenmaier of Camanche. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter: Debra, and two brothers: Don and Robert.
Memorials can be made to the Kidney Foundation or a charity of your choice.
