Dianne Marie Krebs' Obituary
Dianne M. Krebs, 72, of Clinton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends, Thursday, July 14, 2016 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics – Iowa City.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm, Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at the Clinton Church of Christ – Clinton. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Eric Stangle, Adam Stangle, Ryan Stangle, Matt Budde, Nathan Budde, and Logan Kramer. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.
Dianne Marie Lewis was born January 24, 1944 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Howard and LaVerne (Petersen) Lewis. She attended and graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic School in Clinton.
She was a health care professional with Lutheran Services as a Community Service Specialist retiring in 2012. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards, playing board games, reading, going to shows at the Showboat and watching classic movies. She especially loved time spent socializing with family and friends.
Dianne is survived by her two sons: Alan (Robin) Laufenberg of Clinton and Chris (Mindy) Krebs of Clinton; nine grandchildren: Justin, Shauna, Christin, Logan, Dakota, Nevaeh, Jim, Andrea, and Stephanie; 17 great grandchildren; three sisters: Donna (Gene) Stangle of Oviedo, Florida, Deb (Jay) Leonard of Clinton, and Denise (Richard) Budde, of Lisbon, Iowa; special friends and caregivers: Beth and Gary Little of Clinton; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons Charles Laufenberg and Andrew Laufenberg, and daughter Cheri Krebs.
