Diane B. Johnson, 79, of Fulton passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 am, Saturday, January 4, 2025 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Steven Hess, Mike Grimes, Scott Grell, Nicole Hess, Tom Johnson and Brian Kostka. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the service time at the funeral home. Diane Bernice Lucke was born February 3, 1945 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Albert and Dorothy (Stevens) Lucke. She was a 1963 graduate of Clinton High School. She worked for the Auto and License renewal in Clinton for over 20 years. She married Vernon “Lewie” Johnson on June 14, 1985
Diane enjoyed reading, was a collector of Mickey Mouse memorabilia and loved to travel. She enjoyed many trips to Hawaii with her husband. More than anything she enjoyed time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Lewie Johnson of Fulton, three daughters: Carrie Ridenour of East Moline, Illinois, Kimberly (Scott) Grell of Fulton and Cassie (Mike) Grimes of Henderson, Nevada; grandchildren: Steven (Allison) Hess, Kaitlynn (Brian Kostka) Grell, Nicole Hess, Jessica Grimes and Madelynn Grimes; great grandchildren: Tracy, Konner, Kaylee, Korynn, Kalvin and baby girl; step-children: Jennifer Macalik, Tom Johnson, Lewis Johnson and Melissa Johnson. Diane was preceded in death by her parents and step-dad Isaac Leslie.
