At our cousins wedding Dermot was telling me how delicious the beer was that he tried from the menu. I told him I dont branch out much. Our Uncle looked at Dermot, informing him that it was the N/A option. Dermot got a big ole laugh out of this, "hmm. Ive had 4 or 5 of these. I was wondering why they weren't doing anything." He proceeded to finish it anyway.

I have known Dermot his whole life. I have so many fond and funny memories of Dermot. But, I would like to share one of my earlier ones. I am Dermot's, Uncle Tim. I am a Doctor of Chiropractic. I noticed when he was about 1 year old that often times Dermot held his head in a position that had him looking slightly upward toward the ceiling. In chiropractic lingo we call that an anterior occiput. I mentioned it to Pat and Deb and said I can adjust that if they would like. Of course whatever is good for their child they are receptive to and said, sure go ahead and adjust him. Well, kids are just little people so I gave him a little adjustment which made a loud pop followed by Derm's cry, which lasted about 3 seconds followed by hysterical laughing for the next couple of minutes. Even more humorous, every time I looked at Derm over the next hour he was just turning his head from side to side with that cute little smile of his.
