Quite a few years ago Dermot needed a car to "get around town". I sold him a fairly reliable $300 Honda... with the stipulation that it was just an "around town car." Many months later I found out that Dermot had drove that Honda to Colorado and back... lol, I never thought it would have made it. But That's Dermot.

I’ll never forget when we chaperoned the class to a ski day at Chestnut Mountain. It was lots of fun! Dermot injured himself I recall, but he didn’t let it bother him. He was all smiles anyway lol. What a great kid. Gonna miss ya Derm! Sharon Campbell

Watching The Cubs win the world series in extra innings with Dermot and my wife Mary Beth and next door neighbor Brad Andreson and we had a great time.
In middle school, Dermot had a song stuck in his head during a test and so his answer included song lyrics in the middle of it. The teacher (with his permission) read it out loud and everyone, including Dermot in his classic, goofy fashion, was crying laughing - wearing his cowboy boots and Bob Marley shirt of course!
He will be greatly missed!
