Dennis A. Long's Obituary
Dennis A. Long, Sr., 72, of Clinton passed away Thursday, October 8, 2020 at MercyOne – Clinton.

Dennis Allen Long was born August 4, 1948 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Victor Allen and Erma Nadine (Reed) Long. He was raised in Tipton, Iowa and graduated from Tipton High School. He attended college in South Dakota on a football scholarship. Prior to moving to Clinton Dennis lived in Colorado for 12 years. He married Yvonne Schreck on February 15, 1997 in Clinton, Iowa.
Dennis worked as a technician for Mediacom for many years and prior to that worked in construction doing painting and interior designing. He will be missed by his friends, family, his faithful dog Katy and Mr. G.
He is survived by his wife Yvonne of Clinton; two sons: Dennis (Victoria) Long, Jr. of Hunstville, Alabama and David (Shannon) Long of Moline, Illinois; one granddaughter Karma Long of Moline, Illinois; one great granddaughter; and one sister: Lana Long Underdonk of Davenport.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law Larry Underdonk.
