Dennis Clark's Obituary
Dennis W. Clark, II, of Clinton, died Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at Finley Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be 10:30am, Monday, March 3, 2008, at the Catholic Church of the Visitation with Father Richard Okumu officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Zach Johnson, Rowan Johnson, Ricky Goynes, Matthew Clar, Steven Clark, Bubba Clark, Jeff Mussman, Ryan Goynes, J.P. Correll, and Scott Sheppard. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Ray Goynes, Phil Goynes, Rick Goynes, Paul Goynes, Tim Goynes, Joe Clark, and Steve Johnson. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00-5:00pm at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes with a prayer service beginning at 2:00pm.
Dennis Wesley Clark, II was born on November 7, 1948 in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Dennis W. and Vernoa Mae (Sass) Clark. He married Sandra Jean Goynes on June 19, 1970 in Camanche, Iowa.
Dennis was a 1967 graduate of Dubuque Senior High School. He was employed with Lyondell/Chemplex as a maintenance technician since 1968. He served as the president of the plant?s Employees Recreation Building for over 25 years.
Dennis was a member of the Catholic Church of the Visitation and the Clinton Eagles Club.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife: Sandra of Clinton; three daughters: Alicia Clark of Clinton, Denise (Scott) Sheppard of Clinton, and Elisabeth Clark of Clinton; three grandchildren: Robbie Sheppard, Johnathan Sheppard and Oliva May Carolyn Clark; one sister: Sandra Milroy of Clinton; two brothers: Joseph (Becky) Clark of Clinton, and Richard Clark of Clinton.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, and an infant sister, and infant brother.
