Cheryl and family, we were so sad to hear of your dad’s passing, I so enjoyed his stories and his smile with the twinkle in his eye. Ken and I were so glad we were with him on mission trips to Louisiana where when we came home and at our recap for church someone said what were you drinking in the picture of the Gumbo shop and without blinking he replied ice tea. I about busted out laughing as it was an adult beverage. He had a great sense of humor. Sending hugs.🤗
I work for good Samaritan Society. I took care of your dad for often and on for a while. He was a wonderful man. I really will miss him. Prayers to the family.

I remember Mr. Ernst as my shop class teacher in Leather and plastic shop at Washington Junier high school. I too served 20 years in the Navy and was a first Class Gunners Mate from 1980 to 2000. RIP Mr. Ernst.
