Dean E. Eickert, 62, of Andover, Iowa passed away Wednesday July 17, 2024 at MercyOne, Clinton. Private graveside services will be held at Andover Cemetery on Monday, July 22, 2024. Online condolences may be expressed at snellzornig.com Snell-Zornig is assisting the family with arrangements.
Dean Eugene Eickert was born April 22, 1962 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Wilbert and Dorothy Inez (Hudson) Eickert. He was a graduate of North East High School. Dean had been employed at International Paper until they closed and at Kraft Foods in Davenport.
Dean enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his siblings: Mark (Deb) Eickert of Clinton, IA; Brenda Gronwaldt of Clinton, IA and Donald (Peggy) Eickert of Bryant, IA; sister-in-law, Sabrina Eickert of Clinton, IA and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Rita and Sheila; brother Wilbert Eickert, Jr. and brother-in-law, Jeff Gronwaldt.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a favorite charity.
