David M. Steeg's Obituary
David M. Steeg, 74, of Clinton, passed away, Sunday, September 25, 2022 at the Alverno.
Funeral Services will be 1:00pm, Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at the First Baptist Church – Clinton. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be nephews: Scott, Milton, Paul, Greg, and Joey Steeg. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00am to the service time at the church. The Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.
David Milton Steeg was born on April 7, 1948 in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of Milton and Violet (Merrill) Steeg.
David was employed at Bennett Box, International Paper for 25 years, and Wild Rose Casino. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
David is survived by his sister: Maureen (Randy) Annear of Clinton; a sister-in-law: Elsie Steeg of Fulton, IL; nieces and nephews: Scott (Lori) Steeg, Greg Steeg, Joe (Stacey) Steeg, Paul (Melissa Birt) Steeg, Milton (Stacy) Steeg and Renee (Gilbert Stralow) Steeg; great-nieces and great-nephews: Kyle, Kelsey and Austen Steeg, and Keegan Birt-Steeg.
David was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Gerald and Marcus; two sisters: Dawn and Sara; great-nephew: Tyler Steeg and great-niece Hannah Birt-Steeg.
