Maggy, DeHaven said Dave was battling the big C. I really never believed Dave would lose this battle. You and your family lost a true gentleman, that special guy we all knew and loved when school kids. He remained that special guy and was the perfect advocate for youth I believe he was placed here to be. My sympathy to you and your family. I was looking for an obit to print out for my Mom and this sad news of Dave's passing popped up on the screen and just had to stare and remember those good years on the hill top.
