You are in my thoughts and prayers. Sorry for your loss!
The Lyon's kids are down one in number and even more in friendship with David's passing. I'll always remember our great times together through all the years. Rest easy, old friend. You will be missed.

Surely we would not weep if some beloved friend had the good fortune to move from a humble and uncomfortable house to a mansioninto which the sunlight streamed, and whose grounds are a never ending maze of beauty and wonder and delight. We would say that was a fortunate friend, and , a bit wistfully, we would look froward t the time when we too might leave the burden of our daily tasks and join him in his house of beauty and light. "from the writings of Helen Keller"
Dave was my neighbor and one of my closest friends growing up in Lyons. We played baseball every season available and in our back yards in the off seasons. We played together on the same teams from 13 year old thru High School. Dave was a great athelete but even a better friend.
Rest in piece Dave, you will never be forgotten in my lifetime.
Cindi & my prayers are with Maggie and the rest of your family during and after this painful time.
I will remember Dave's humor and his ability to make everyone laugh. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Maggie.
Dave and I were close childhood buddies. We lived across North Second Street from each other in the late 40's and early 50's. We had great times together. The last time I saw him was about 20 years ago in the Clinton County Courthouse. He recognized me first and we had a great talk about our days in Lyons.
He was a super kid and it's evident from the obit that he was a fine man as well. My sympathy to his family.
With deepest sympathy to you, Maggie and your family.
Please accept our sympathy for the loss of your Husband and Father.
Peace, Prayers and Blessings.
Sorry for your loss. Maggie and Dave were wonderful parents. I went to school with Chris. And Rick was so close too - 1 year older in school. I knew them well. The Family is in my thoughts and prayers.
Our deepest sympathies go out to you, Maggie, and your family. It was always so nice to visit with Dave as "back yard neighbors". He will truely be missed.
