Mr. Parker was my science teacher at Washington Jr. High School in my 9th grade year. He made the switch from a one room country school to the "big city" a little more bearable. My condolonces to the family.

Mr. Parker was my science teacher at Washington Junior High School many, many years ago. He was an unforgetable teacher who made learning a pleasure -- even the frog we dissected. It was a pleasure to be in his class and I know I join others he taught who share memories of his classes. My sympathy to his family.

Mr. Parker was a wonderful teacher. I always enjoyed his class, even dissection. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Roseann Robe
We met David in 1952 when we moved to Clinton and
rented the upstairs apartment in the home of Lorraine's
parents, the Volkmanns. They were very gracious and
even invited the "new kids" to spend Christmas Eve with
the Family. They were good friends!
Bill's career path led us to several places before returning
to Clinton in 1984.
We had a great time on one of David's trips to Spain, Portugal
and Morocco.
Later on, we became next door neighbors on Hickory Hill.
We're sure everyone will agree with us that David was a great
guy and a real gentleman.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Lorraine and family.

Dave and my dad, Hub, had been "buddies" (my dad's description) since their childhoods in Fairfield and continuing throughout their long marriages. I thank God for their faithful friendship that endures even now, connecting our families with strong, if invisible, threads. During a childhood vacation visit, a tour of Dave's classroom was my first exposure to the shocking reality of animal dissection! I lift prayers for comfort and hope to sustain Lorraine and your whole family. Barbara Lou (Ford) Morrison
Mr. Parker was a terrific science teacher and many of the things he taught me 30 years ago at CCC, I still use today as a Critical Care Flight Paramedic. My thoughts are with the family. Gary Soderstrom
David was my 1st(& favorite) clinical patient in nursing school..I NEVER forgot him...as he & Lorraine left my instructor & I a box of chocolates!! :) Than he joined us at Heritage Care Center..David was on my hall..so we got to reconnect...and he "assured" me daily I was his FAVORITE (until I made him get out of bed daily..than he told me that position was slowly fading! ;D) David was definitely an unforgettable man. I pray your family finds peace and comfort in the days to come. R.I.P. Mr. Parker!
