David W. Larsen's Obituary
David W. Larsen, 62, of rural Camanche, passed away, Monday, January 10, 2022.
Funeral Services will 10:30am, Monday, January 17, 2022 at Elvira Zion Lutheran Church; the family requests casual attire for the services. Burial will be in the Elvira Cemetery with military honors being conducted by the DeWitt American Legion. Serving as pallbearers will be Rick Wing, Bob Fatchett, Jim Reed, Jason Wing, Curtis Claeys, Bill Ryan, and Kendall Claeys. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00pm-6:00pm at the church. Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
David Walter Larsen was born October 4, 1959 in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Walter and Elaine (Horn) Larsen. He was a 1978 graduate of Northeast High School. He served in the United States Navy from 1978-1982.
David was currently working for Custom Pak where he had worked for almost 30 years. He enjoyed antique tractors and mechanical work. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
David is survived by his sister: Darla (Alan) Feagins of Iowa City, Iowa; a niece and nephews: Danielle, Andrew, and Casey, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a baby brother, grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
Memorials can be made to the DeWitt Veterans Memorial.
