David A. Eggers, 76, of Clinton passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023 at MercyOne - Clinton.

David Alan Eggers was born April 21, 1947 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Virgil and Arlene (Thomsen) Eggers. He married Vickie Morton on December 28, 1979 in Clinton, Iowa. He was a graduate of Miles High School in 1965 and served in the United States Army in Vietnam from 1966-1968. David worked for ADM as a material handler for 38 years.
He is survived by his wife Vickie Eggers of Clinton; daughter Frances (Tyler) Owen of Lisbon, Iowa, two granddaughters: Indiana and Aveline Owen; and two nephews and their families: Shawn (Amanda) Snyder of Goose Lake, Iowa and Shannon (Ashley) Snyder of Sabula, Iowa.
David was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Carlyn and Janet.
