David Bridge's Obituary
David W. Bridge, 75, of Clinton, went home to be with his Lord & Savior on Monday, March 30, 2015 at Eagle Point Nursing Home – Clinton.
Going Home Services will be 11:00am, Friday, April 3, 2015 at Gateway Baptist Church – Clinton. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery – Camanche with military honors being conducted by the Camanche VFW. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00-8:00opm at the church. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes is assisting the family.
David Walker Bridge was born on July 26, 1939 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada the son of Harry and Dorothy (Williams) Bridge. He served in the United States Army from 1960-1963.
David sold insurance and was a financial auditor for many years.
David was a member of Gateway Baptist Church. He taught Sunday School for over 25 years. Many of his Sunday Schoolers went on to become missionaries and ministers.
David is survived by his children: Michael Bridge of California, Melody (Jon) Booth of Clinton, and David (Rachel) Bridge of Clinton; 9 grandchildren, his sister: Betty Lou (Jimmy) Broll of Canada, and his brother: Donald (Ruth) Bridge of Canada.
David was preceded in death by his parents, and one son.
Memorials can be made to Gateway Baptist Church.
