Darryl Eugene Blinkinsop, 74, of Clinton passed away Monday, May 1, 2023 at MercyOne Clinton.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Vista Grande (2141 16th Street NW, Clinton, Iowa) from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is honored to serve Darryl’s family.
Darryl Eugene Blinkinsop was born July 14, 1948 in Clinton, the son of Dennis and Beverly (Walker) Blinkinsop. He attended Camanche High School. He married Deliah Huber in 1966. He was a contractor and owned and operated Blinkinsop Siding, Roofing and Windows for nearly 40 years. He also was an enthusiastic car collector, member of many car clubs and enjoyed car shows.
Darryl is survived by his wife Deliah Blinkinsop of Clinton; two sons: Thomas (Jen) Blinkinsop of Las Vegas, Nevada and Lance (Angie Lind) Blinkinsop of Camanche; two grandchildren: Rubie and Ella; two sisters: Karm Paysen of Calamus, Iowa and Sonya (Stephen) Schroeder of Calamus, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Leonard Porter and Robert Jewell.
