Darlene J. Shadle's Obituary
Darlene Shadle, 89, of Camanche, passed away, Saturday, January 16, 2021 at the Eagle Point Nursing Home – Clinton.
Funeral Services will be 11:00am Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00-11:00am at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date at the Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
Darlene Joyce Vodochodsky was born on November 4, 1931, in Earling, Iowa the daughter of Joseph and Lucille (Jackson) Vodochodsky. She married Elmer Shadle on May 5, 1950 in Camanche; he died August 28, 1992.
Darlene was a property manager for many years retiring in 2002. She was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church and was active with the Seniors vs. Crime.
Darlene is survived by her children: Darrin Shadle of Scottsdale Arizona, Patricia Katcher of Safety Harbor, Florida, Connie Ketelsen of Camanche, and Lorrie (Brent) Kammerer of Largo, Florida; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son: Joseph, and a brother.
Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association.
