Darlene J. Honeywell, 84, of Crystal River Florida and formerly of Clinton, IA, died Saturday, November 10, 2007 in Florida. Services will be held at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, November 16, 2007 at 10:30am. Visitation will be at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig on Thursday, November 15, 2007 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Burial will be at the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Schawn Honeywell, Lenny Jarrett, Jeffrey Chadourne, Matthew Chadourne, Josh Honeywell, Tony Luett and Jason Thomas.
Darlene was born May 18, 1923 in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of Edward and Carrie (Ostert) Lange. She was a Clinton High School graduate. She married Robert LeRoy Honeywell, Jr. August 11, 1949 in Clinton; he died August 23, 2003. Darlene had been a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
Survivors include her Sons, Frank (Diane) Honeywell of Clinton, IA; and Robert Honeywell, III of New Albin, IA; daughters Susan (Paul) Chadourne of Hernando, FL; and Jill (Stephen) Burbank of Crystal River, FL; brothers, Bruce Lange of Clinton, IA; and Edward Lange of California and her sister, Helen Ware; 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband her parents, 2 grandsons, 3 sisters, a brother and a daughter-in-law preceded her in death.
