Daniel J. Torode's Obituary
Daniel J. Torode, 35, of Goose Lake, passed away, Friday, May 30, 2025.
Funeral Services will be 4:00pm, Friday, June 6, 2025 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be from 2:00pm to the service time at the funeral home. Military Honors will be conducted by the Clinton AMVETS Post #28.
Daniel James Torode was born on April 24, 1990, in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Brian and Patricia (Larsen) Torode. He was a 2008 graduate of Northeast High School. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Army serving until being discharged in 2012, serving in Iraq and Kuwait.
Daniel was a master of all things; He enjoyed snowboarding in Colorado. He enjoyed everything action sports, to include dirt biking, skydiving, jet skiing, Taekwondo, rock climbing, and camping/vanlife. He also was a logistics manager in Aspen, Colorado. His recent passion was working towards being a baker with plans to open a coffee bar in Aspen.
Daniel is survived by his father: Brian of Goose Lake; his sister: Crystal Torode of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his brother: Thomas (Sara) Torode of Waukee, Iowa; his lady friend: Loria; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother and his grandparents.
