Daniel S. Pawlowski's Obituary
Daniel S. Pawlowski, 70, of Clinton passed away Thursday, November 7, 2019 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics – Iowa City.
Memorial Services will be 11:00 am, Monday, November 11, 2019 at the Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Burial of his urn will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 am until the service hour on Monday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting his obituary at www.snellzornig.com.
Daniel Steven Pawlowski was born May 9, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Steven and Mary (Swedowski) Pawlowski. He was a 1967 graduate of the Palatine High School. He served in the United States Army from 1969 to 1970. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Illinois in 1974 and earned his Master’s Degree in Business from Southern Illinois University.
Dan married Vicki Wegloski on January 25, 1974 in Wheaton, Iowa. He worked as a Mechanical Engineer for most of his life, he owned and operated several businesses the latest being Dynamic Tube Inc (DTI) in Maquoketa. He was a member of Prince of Peace Parish in Clinton. He enjoyed fishing with the guys, wood working and gardening. He was an avid reader and could fix just about anything.
He is survived by his wife Vicki of Clinton; two daughters: Lindsey Pawlowski of Clarksville, Tennessee and Shelley Dawn Pawlowski of Iowa City, Iowa; one brother: Larry (JoAnne) Pawlowski of Lake Villa, Illinois; one sister Melinda (Dan) Golden of Los Angeles, California; sister-in-law Sheila Pawlowski of Gilbert, Arizona; and several nieces and nephews.
Dan was preceded in his death by mother, father, step mother, and his brother Michael.
