Daniel Jansma's Obituary
Daniel K. Jansma, 60, of Low Moor, passed away, Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Genesis Davenport.
Visitation will be, Saturday, August 30, 2025 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. A celebration of his life will follow at the B&S General Store – Folletts. In honor of his love for the Chicago Cubs the family asks you to wear Cubbie blue.
Daniel Kurt Jansma was born on September 23, 1964 in Clinton, the son of Orville and Denise (Rick) Jansma. He was a 1982 graduate of Clinton High School and received a certificate from mechanics school in Wichita, Kansas.
Dan was employed at Wendling Quarries for over 25 years. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, loved to work on his truck and jeep in the garage, and fishing on the Mississippi River.
Dan is survived by his wife: Gail of Low Moor; his mother: Denise (Dean) Jansma-Garlough of Bettendorf, Iowa; his brother: Darrin Jansma of Bettendorf and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother: Dennis.
