Daniel R. Burggraaf's Obituary
Daniel R. Burggraaf, 61, of Clinton, died Monday, January 7, 2013 at his home in Clinton.
Funeral Services will be 1:00pm, Friday, January 11, 2013 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00am to the service time Friday at the funeral home.
Daniel Roy Burggraaf was born on December 29, 1951 in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the son of Russell and Betty (Howell) Burggraaf. He was a graduate of Clinton High School
.
Dan was a carpenter his entire life. He also was a construction superintendent for Art Linkletter and other stars in California. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Dan is survived by four sons: David (Jennifer) Burggraaf of Austin, Texas, Dustin (Jessica) Burggraaf of St. Louis, Missouri, Nicholas Burggraaf of Snowhomish, Washington, and Steven (Carlene) Burggraaf of Seattle, Washington; 5 grandchildren; his mother: Betty Burggraaf of Bettendorf, Iowa; and two brothers: James (Pat) Burggraaf of Lawrenceville, Georgia, and Jon (Sharon) Burggraaf of Clinton.
Dan was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.
Memorials can be made to the family or the University of Iowa Hospitasl and Clinics.
