Dale G. Robe, 66, of Clinton, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at his home after a battle with cancer. Funeral Services will be 10:30am, Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Burial will be in the St. Ma Read Obituary

My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Mr. Robe. I was born and raised in Danville, IA. Mr. Robe was one of my 6th grade teachers. He was a great teacher and was concerned/cared about his students. He was one of my role models in becoming a teacher. May he rest in peace.

My condolence to the family. I noticed Dale’s obituary in the Quad City Times. I grew up in Danville and Dale was one of my 6th grade teachers as well as my 7th grade basketball coach. I remember our Junior High basketball team did quite well under his leadership only losing 1 game. He was a fine teacher and coach. May he rest in peace.

Oh Roseanne....you know how much I loved your Dale! He would hold my Rebecca for me while I tried to get things loaded in my car...or hold Chrissy when I was busy roller skating Rebecca in the school gym on family fun night! Then came Jac a few years later...and he would hold her just "because." As you know, whenever he return the girls, they smelled SO GOOD! LOL! Above all, I enjoyed our talks about raising the girls and the "library" he gave me over the years to help me! Having them finally raised,..I will be sure to pass on the books he gaave me to a mom who will need them! How blessed we were to have had him in our lives! May you find peace in your memories!
Dale was a friend of mine in high school and I always thought highly of him. I remember seeing him at our 10th class reunion. My sincerest sympathy to your family.

I am thinking of you and your family, Roseanne. I was so sorry to hear of Dale's passing. Is hard to believe. The yrs. have flown by. Our kids were just little when we got together for Jr. Women's Club and then card club. Now I only run into you now and then out shopping. I never knew Dale, but he is getting some wonderful tributes so must have been a wonderful person. God"s Peace Be With you and your family.

I was very, very sorry to read of Dale's death. I worked with Dale at WMS. We were both Green Bay Packer fans. When I would run into Dale, at school or in the community, the Packers would always be a part of our discussion. In 1996, in honor of the Super Bowl, Dale, myself and a couple more teachers hosted a Packer party for the staff in the library at WMS. We had green and gold decorations, green and gold food and Packers gear was mandatory! The Packers won the Super Bowl that year. Now, with Dale to watch over (and 'coach') the team from Heaven, the Pack will surely have a winning season.
