Uncle Dales smile is what I will remember. His face would just light up! All smiles. What a reunion they are all having now!

I always remember Uncle Dale and Aunt Margarite being so kind when I had spent the summer there as a teenager . We all had such fun together we laughed and joked around so much. Then seeing him again a as young woman I felt warmth again and he still made me feel special. I am so glad I was able to see him again an be in the Labor Day parade. He was so vibrant and friendly even at 96. I will miss just knowing he is not here anymore but know I will see him in eternity forever. We'll have a big party. I have loved you Uncle Dale and you will be greatly missed. Your niece Cheryl Ann
We are saddened to learn of Dale's passing. He was a wonderful friend. We have fond memories of the years we camped together, our boys enjoyed him and his stories around the campfire.. He will be missed. Our sincere sympathy to the family, our thoughts and prayers for comfort at this sad time.

Uncle Dale was always bigger than life. He was rock that members of this family came to lean on, especially my mother, his baby sister. Every Saturday morning there was a place set at mother's kitchen table, pancakes, bacon or sausage, and eggs. She would rise early and wait patiently for that bicycle to come to a hault at her door and her brother to take his place. Then it was off to check on his other sister and tease Nancy Lou. He would usually call her Lou Lou and she loved it. His visits ceased one by one as they all traveled ahead. Mother is fixing his favorite breakfast tomorrow, Aunt Marguerite is joining in festivities, Grandma and Aunt Jeanette are smiling from ear to ear and Nancy is dancing around him. What a joyous homecoming for him! Will miss you and will honor your memory always! Wendy
