Daisy M. Logan, 80, of Camanche, died Thursday, October 25, 2007, at the Alverno Nursing Home, Clinton.
Graveside Services will be 11:00am, Saturday, October 27, 2007, at the Calvary Cemetery, Ottumwa, Iowa. The Snell-Zornig Funeral Home in Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Daisy Mae Barnes was born on May 17, 1927 in Randolph, Iowa, the daughter of Freidman and Nellie Ruth (Isaac)Barnes. She was a graduate of Ottumwa High School.
She owned and operated Daisy Donuts in Clinton and Camanche for over 8 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Clinton, the Mercy Auxillary and the Christian Women?s Club.
She is survived by five daughters: Judi (Harold) Chapman of Redfield, Iowa, Joyce (Bobby) Ladehoff of Swaledale, Iowa, Linda (Tom) Kramer of Camanche, Iowa, Cinda Wolfe of Camanche, Iowa, Brenda (Jim) Dunmore of Clinton, Iowa; 16 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren; one brother: Donald (Marilyn) Barnes of Camanche, Iowa, two sisters: Wava Bain of Ottumwa, Iowa, and Gertrude Bain of Largo, Florida.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers, and 2 sisters.
The family requests that memorials be made to the family.
