I just learned the tragic news of Curt's illness and death, and am grieving with you all. Curt's larger-than-life personality was so uplifting (and entertaining!)...I have many fond memories of him, especially during our years at St. Ambrose.
I have some sense - but can't fully imagine - how much you all must be grieving his death. I hope you are finding some comfort in one another, and in all the love and laughter I'm sure Curt is still creating in your lives. I know first-hand how much you loved him over the years.
Wishing you islands of comfort, strength, gratitude, and peace in the midst of the ocean of your grief - David Kozishek
My condolences to Curt's family, especially his loving mother. Although I only knew Curt for a short time, he was a great man who will be missed. Rest in peace Curt.

Rest in God's Peace now my friend! We had not seen one another in years but our days at Ambrose together cast fond memories within my mind so often. Peace to your family and friends.

Curt was a very important person in my life along with his sister Donna. It always stands out in my mind how much he loved his mother and wanted her to have the best. Curt was blessed with a tasteful eye for the good things and was uniquely qualified in that area. He had a really infectious laugh and he was always looking for something fun to do. He had a very straightforward way about him that I found easy to respect. He never had an easy go of things but he was no quitter. And I don't think I've ever met a man who dressed better- or smelled better! I will remember him always for those many reasons but there will never be any memories for me more precious than seeing his love and dedication to his sister and one of my closest friends. They had a special bond that I was privy to witness on many, many occasions. He would do anything for his sister and I was lucky enough to tag along sometimes. It's almost impossible to imagine he's no longer with us but I'm going to focus on how free he must be feeling now. I know I'll have a special guardian angel in him. Love you Curt.
Love to Donna and Marcella Bundy and all your family. God be with you.
