Craig S. Johnson's Obituary
Craig S. Johnson, 53, of Clinton, died Friday, November 30, 2012 at his home.
The family will greet friends on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 from 5:00-7:00pm at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. A time to share memories and stories will conclude the visitation at 7:00pm.
Craig Scott Johnson was born on July 18, 1959 in LaGrange, Illinois, the son of Frank and Albina (Gregonis) Johnson. He was a 1977 graduate of Fulton High School. He then attended the University of Missouri at Rolla graduating in 1982 with a degree in Metallurgical Engineering. He married Claire Barker on October 31, 1980 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Craig was currently the Vice President of Quality at JT Cullen working there since 1990.
Craig was a member of the Clinton Rotary Club, the American Society of Metals, enjoyed camping, canoeing, hiking, reading, and was proud to be a over 10 gal donor of blood with the American Red Cross.
Craig is survived by his wife: Claire Johnson of Clinton, his children: Sarah (Scott) Deters of Clinton, Kevin (Laura) Johnson of Des Moines, Kelly Johnson of Waverly, and Brian Johnson at home; two grandchildren: Adam Deters and Eleanor Johnson; his siblings: Joyce (David) Seger of Fulton, Roger (Jane) Johnson of Fulton, Laura (John) Bares of Tucson, Arizona, Linda (Janardan) Thakkar of Houston, Texas and Eric (Janis) Johnson of Clinton; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family requests that memorials be made to the American Red Cross.
