Coral J. Spitzer, 86, of Fulton, Illinois, passed away, Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at MercyOne – Clinton.
There will be no services or visitation, the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
Coral Jeanette Josund was born on June 30, 1935 in New Rockford, North Dakota, the daughter of Otto and Cora (Hanson) Josund. She was a graduate of New Rockford High School. She married Arnold Spitzer on May 11, 1954 in New Rockford, ND.
Coral was employed at (Fulton Bakery, NW Fabrics and Hancock Fabrics) before her retirement.
Coral was an avid quilter and enjoyed needlework. She also enjoyed reading.
Coral is survived by her husband: Arnold of Fulton; two daughters: Vicki (Alan) Mohr of Lowden, Iowa, and Nancy Spitzer of Fulton; two grandchildren: Sandra (Brad) Schafbuch of Downers Grove, Il and Dan (Amy) Mohr of Clarence, IA4 great-grandchildren: Caitlyn and Cara Schafbuch and Shae and Rylee Mohr, two sisters: Benita Baugatz of Batavia, Illinois and Judy Shockey of Goodland, Kansas, and a brother: Otto (Judy) Josund of Clinton. Lots of nieces and nephews and Granddog Beau. She was preceded in death by her parents.
