Connie S. Davis' Obituary
Connie S. Davis, 52, of Clinton passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer that she fought with grace and dignity.
A Memorial Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, Monday, September 25, 2017 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory.
Connie Susannah Kock was born March 7, 1965 in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of Gerhard and Ingeborg (Carmen) Kock. She was a 1983 graduate of Clinton High School and received an Associate’s Degree from Clinton Community College. Connie married Calvin “Pete” Davis on July 13, 1985 in Clinton.
She worked as a Customer Service Manager for Big River Packaging in Clinton. She enjoyed landscaping, bird watching, cooking, baking, she loved home remodeling projects and time spent with family and friends. She was a member of the River Church in Clinton.
Connie will be dearly missed by her loving husband Calvin “Pete” Davis of Clinton; two sons: Ryne Davis of Cedar Falls and Christopher Davis of Cedar Falls; her mother: Ingeborg Kock of Clinton; three siblings: Katherine Shedivy of Manatowac, Wisconsin, Bernhard Kock of Clinton and Gerhard Kock of Clinton; several nieces and nephews; Marcie Grandma and family; her loving Big River Packaging family; and her special dog Molly.
She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
