Clifton A. Stoller's Obituary
Clifton A. Stoller, 70, of Thomson, Illinois passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023 with his wife by his side.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 9:30 am at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Funeral services will follow at 11:30 am. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting his obituary at www.snellzornig.com.
Clifton Allan Stoller was born January 27, 1953 in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Keith and Annabelle (Porthon) Stoller. He was a 1971 graduate of Clinton High School and served in the United States Army from 1972-1975. He married Dorie Hellweg on June 7, 1975 in Camanche, Iowa.
Clif owned and operated Clif Stoller Construction from 1990 until he retired in 2013. He was a past member of the Eagles Club. Clif enjoyed playing pool and league bowling with his father and father-in-law but mostly he loved being on the river and spending time at the cabin with Dorie, family and friends.
Clif is survived by his wife, Dorie of Thomson; siblings: Christy (Robert) Shumake of Clinton, Steven (Jeannee) Stoller of Clinton, Jeffrey (Julie) Stoller of Clinton, David Stoller of Clinton and Kathryn (Gary) McKenrick of Low Moor, Iowa; and he is Uncle Clif to 25 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorie’s parents and one sister-in-law, Kelly Stoller.
