Christopher E. Hammon's Obituary
Christopher E. Hammon, 36, of Clinton passed away Thursday, April, 16, 2020.
Burial and services will take place at a later date. Burial will be in the Rock Island National Cemetery.
Christopher Eugene Hammon was born February 22, 1984 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the son of Carroll and Sherry (Avery) Hammon. He attended Moody High School and served in the United States Army from 2001 to 2006. He worked in Construction Equipment Repair in the Army and carried that trade with him into civilian life.
He enjoyed doing anything mechanical but especially enjoyed time spent with his children. He was a fun loving man who always had a sense of humor.
Chris is survived by his mother: Sherry (Charlie) Jackson of Pell City, Alabama; his father Carroll Hammon of Athens, Georgia; four children: Anthony, Jaxton, Kendall and Eugene all at home; one sister: Angelica (Christian) Caudle of Birmingham, Alabama; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and brother: Matthew Hammon.
