Christopher Duane Garrett's Obituary
Christopher D. Garrett, 63, of Clinton passed away Sunday June 26, 2022 at his home.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday July 5, 2022 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm (Noon) until the service time at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting his obituary at www.snellzornig.com.
Christopher Duane Garrett was born January 15, 1959 in Plymouth, North Carolina. He attended and graduated from Plymouth High School. He married Annette Bell in May 2000 in Clinton, Iowa. He was an over the road truck driver for more than 30 years, most recently he worked for Omaha Express. Duane enjoyed family gatherings, traveling, spending time with grandchildren and when on the road, he was an avid collector of different trinkets and souvenirs from the states all the states he visited.
Duane is survived by his wife Annette Garrett of Clinton; children: Crystal Norman of Plymouth, North Carolina, Daron Norman of Plymouth, North Carolina, Yonrico Bell of Clinton and Tameka Bell of Mableton, Georgia; six grandchildren; siblings: Demetrius Garrett of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Gertrude “Trudy” Garrett of Plymouth, North Carolina, a host nieces, nephews, friends and special friends that he was raised with Derek Sutton of Archdale, North Carolina and Debbie Sutton of Kansas City, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
