Cheryle Kolsrud's Obituary
Cheryle Kolsrud, 67, of Camanche, passed away, Sunday, March 8, 2015 at her home in Camanche.
Memorial Services will be 6:00pm, Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will be from 3:00pm to the service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting her obituary at www.snellzornig.com.
Cheryle Lee Mensinger was born on October 20, 1947 in Clinton, the daughter of LeRoy and Beverly (Brown) Mensinger. She was a 1966 graduate of Camanche High School, and later received her AA from Mt. St. Claire College. She married Reed Kolsrud on November 18, 1967 in Camanche.
Cheryle was an insurance agent with American Family Insurance and later the Insurance Group for over 30 years retiring in 2009.
Cheryle enjoyed reading, visiting the casino, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Cheryle is survived by her husband: Reed of Camanche; two sons: Joel Kolsrud of Camanche and Jason Kolsrud of Camanche, one daughter: Landi (Brian) Tichler of Morrison, a daughter-in-law: Mardi Kolsrud of Camanche; six grandchildren: David (Jessica) Hicks, Jay & Shanna Kolsrud, and Tyler, Jenna, and Marissa Tichler; one great-granddaughter: Brooke Hicks; her mother: Beverly Mensinger of Camanche; four sisters: Alice Allum of Honeyville, Utah, Beverly (Gary) Snodgrass of Los Fresnos, Texas, April Wise of Camanche, Coralea Mensinger of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; her brother: LeRoy (Patty) Mensinger of Low Moor, and several nieces and nephews.
Cheryle was preceded in death by her father: LeRoy.
Memorials can be made to the Cancer Center at Medical Associates.
