Cheryl L. Bryson's Obituary
Cheryl L. Bryson, 69, of Clinton, passed away, Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the University of Iowa Hosptials and Clinics – Iowa City, Iowa.
Funeral Services will be 10:00am, Friday, June 9, 2017 at the Church of the Open Door. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Derek Wilson, Chuck Williams, Glenn Williams, Jim Robbins, Dan Bryson, and David Wilson. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00-7:00pm at the Church of the Open Door. Cheryl Lynn Apfel was born on November 7, 1947, in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, the daughter of Alfred and Virginia (Frost) Apfel. She was a graduate of Rhinelander High School. She married John Bryson on August 10, 1969 in Rhinelander, Wisconsin.
Cheryl was employed at the Cottage Pastry in Fulton for several years and was also employed at Nielsens.
Cheryl was an active member of Church of the Open Door. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, doing crossword puzzles, and socializing with friends.
Cheryl is survived by her husband: John P. of Clinton; her children: Christina (Shawn) Lorion of Clinton and John M. Bryson of Seattle, Washington; two grandchildren: Kolton and Alexis Lorion; her sister: Leah Robbins of Rhinelander, Wisconsin, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and one sister.
