Charles Fulton's Obituary
Charles "Chuck" Fulton, 74, of Clinton, passed away, Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at his home surrounded by family. He was born December 26, 1939 in Clinton to William & Virginia Fulton. He married Carol J. (Cook) on August 15, 1959.
Chuck was raised in the family business the 'Town Talk Shoppers Guide', where he peddled papers as a youngster, set type on linotype, printed, did sales and was manager, after Town Talk was sold to the Quad City Times he went on to establish his own printing business 'Graphic Concepts'. He was a member of Lyons Masonic Lodge #93 AF & AM, serving as its Worshipful Master in 1978, and a 32 degree mason and member of the Clinton Scottish Rite Bodies. He started wood carving in 2001 after open heart surgery. Making many Christmas & tree ornaments for all his family. His greatest joy has always been togetherness with his wife, children, grandchildren & great grandchildren.
Chuck is survived by his wife Carol of Clinton; three daughters: Lori (Dave) Zimmerman of Fulton, IL, Kristi (Joe) Krick of Clinton, IA, Lisa (Mike) Cecil of Holt, MO, and one brother William (Alice) of Green Bay, WI. and Sister-In-Law, Linda Fulton, Clinton, and several nieces and nephews. Grandchildren: Andrew & Sarah Leonard, Jessica & Tristan Seibel, Melissa & Matt Delarm, Megan Zimmerman, Emily, Adam Krick, Carly, Tucker, Laney Cecil. Great Grandchildren: Ivy, Andrew Leonard, Macie, Skilyr Seibel, Gus, Coy DeLarm, Bastien, Brynn Balous, Eliott Krick.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Douglas.
Funeral Services will be 10:30am, Monday, December 29, 2014 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday December 28, from 2 until 5 at the funeral home with a Masonic Blue Lodge service concluding the visitation. Serving as pallbearers will be Dave Zimmerman, Joe Krick, Mike Cecil, Drew Leonard, Tristan Seibel and Robert Hill. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Melissa Delarm, Jessica Seibel, Megan Zimmerman, Emily Krick, Carly Cecil, Adam Krick, Tucker Cecil, Laney Cecil and Sarah Leonard.
