Charles “Charlie” L. Sexton, 71, of Clinton, passed away, Friday, July 18, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center – Clinton.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 am, Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Charlie was born on August 17, 1942 in Maryville, TN, the son of Lester and Caroline (Leighty) Sexton. He married Anna Henry on September 18, 1965 in Clinton, IA.
Charlie worked at Alcoa for 35 years and Walgreens for 10 years.
He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed motorcycling and playing pool. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Charlie is survived by his wife, Anna of Clinton; his daughter, Tracey Sexton of Tallahassee, FL; his son, Tim (Anna) Sexton of Altoona, WI; two grandchildren, Shane Nier and Natalia Sexton; and many nieces and nephews including his fishing buddy Dale.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and a brother.
Memorials may be made to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.
