Carroll Wickham's Obituary
Carroll K. Wickham, 67, of Clinton, IA, died Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at his home in Clinton.
Memorial services will be held at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, August 22, 2008 at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig on Friday, August 22, 2008 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn.
He was born October 17, 1940, in, Mill County, MO, the son of Kermit and Mildred (Mc Dow) Wickham. He married Eleanor "Sue" Castleberry on September 22, 1972 in Topeka, KS.
Carroll retired from the U.S. Air force in 1979. He was also employed as a grinder and forklift operator at Lamson and Sessions from 1979 until retiring in 2006. Carroll was a member of New Life Assembly of God Church and enjoyed fishing and boating.
Survivors include his wife, Sue of Clinton; children, Kelly Wickham of Monroe, WI; Candy (Delbert) Jennings of Lehigh Acres, FL; Lisa (David) Langrehr of Clinton and Richard (Denise) Wickham of Alton, IL, grandchildren, Zachary, Stephanie, Samantha, DJ, Brittanie, Tiffany and Patrick; siblings, Betty (Clifford) Geerts of Mt. View, AR: Shirley Zigler, Larry (Sharon) Wickham and Dennis (Joyce) Wickham all of Granite City, IL. Carroll was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Michael.
