Carolyn J. McCunn, 68, of Fulton, Illinois, passed away, Monday, July 4, 2016, surrounded by family and friends at Mercy Medical Center – North – Clinton.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 4:00-7:00pm at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Burial will be at a later date. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting her obituary at www.snellzornig.com.
Carolyn Joyce Remrey was born on February 18, 1948 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of William Robert and Lucille (Sullivan) Remrey, Sr.. She married Terry McCunn on September 3, 1966 in Fulton.
Carolyn was a domestic engineer. She enjoyed hummingbirds, mushrooming, frogging, fishing, camping, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the NRA.
Carolyn is survived by her husband: Terry of Fulton, her children: Mike (Stephanie) McCunn of Fulton, and Jody Foster of Clinton; three grandchildren: Maryssa, Bailey, and Peyton; her sister: Punkin (Jeff) Snyder of Fulton; special friends: Jim & Karen Rathburn of Fulton; uncles: Raymond (Marilyn) Remrey of Thomson and Gene Sullivan of Washington; aunts: Ana Mae Boyert of Clinton and Evelyn Turner of Wisconsin; and many nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, cousins, and friends.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson: Jordan, and a brother: William “Bill” Remrey, Jr.
