Carol J. Scharff-Collins, 83, of Camanche, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025 at the Bettendorf Health Center.
Graveside Services will be 1:00pm, Monday, March 10, 2025 at the Jacks Cemetery in rural Scott County. Serving as pallbearers will be her family. The Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family.
Carol Jean Hopkins was born on November 6, 1941 in Clinton, the daughter of Everett and Maudie (Nolan) Hopkins. She married the love of her life, John Paul Scharff on December 4, 1960; he passed away on September 14, 1992. She would later marry Bob Collins on March 4, 2005.
Carol was a homemaker. She enjoyed taking walks, reading the bible, and riding her bike.
Carol is survived by her husband: Bob Collins of Camanche; her children: Tammy Scharff of Belvidere, Illinois, John (Heidi) Scharff of Bettendorf, and Michelle (Jim) Jackson of Bettendorf; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents.
