Carol Jane Myers was born April 12, 1934, formerly of Springville, Iowa, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Clinton, Iowa and Fulton, Illinois. She was the glue that held everyone together when they did not have the strength to do so, and she will forever be remembered and missed. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years: Robert Myers, three of her five sons: Robert Myers, Jr., Randy Myers and David Myers, her parents and many other loved ones. She is survived by her sons, Martin Myers of Rock Island, Illinois, Roger Myers of Pocatello, Idaho; her four grandchildren, Carolyn Myers of Ames, Iowa, Benjamin Myers of Pocatello, Idaho, Lori Myers of Las Vegas, Nevada and Brett Myers of Vinton, Iowa; and her two beautiful great-grandchildren, Ellie and Ian. Carol is also survived by numerous beloved siblings, friends and relatives. Carol worked at Jewel in both Moline and Clinton for over 20 years and was know for her vibrance, reliability and empathy for everyone she met. Carol gave so much of herself throughout her whole life and everyone that knew her has reason to be grateful to her. May her strength and empathy be an example to those that were blessed enough to have been loved by her and may we take great comfort knowing that she is now with the Lord, as well as with her husband and children.
